Practicing Forgiveness is a self-guided practice app: you choose one knot and practice forgiveness one Day at a time over 14 days. It includes daily sessions, readings, a journal and an SOS session.
This app is a general wellness tool that supports everyday emotional self-care. It does not provide medical or psychotherapeutic care for any disease or health condition, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It may not help everyone, and for some people it may make things feel harder. If you feel you're getting worse while using it, we encourage you to stop and seek help from a professional. The full notice is in Settings > About this app.
If you're in crisis, please reach out for help before using the app: in the US, call or text 988 (988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline); in Korea, call 1577-0199 or 109. SOS is always open, whether or not you've made a purchase.
Day 1 and SOS are free. Everything else — the program from Day 2 on, the readings, and untying another knot after Day 14 — is unlocked with a single one-time purchase. There's no auto-renewal and no recurring charge. Prices are as shown on the App Store.
· Apple handles payment and refunds. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, and users in the Republic of Korea may request withdrawal of a purchase under applicable law.
· With the same Apple Account, you can unlock your purchases again on another device or after reinstalling, in Settings > Purchase > Restore purchases.
· A purchase by a user under 19 requires a legal guardian's consent. If a purchase was made without that consent, the user or the guardian may ask to cancel it.
· “Yours to keep” means for as long as the app is offered on the App Store.
Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to this app.

What you write in the app is yours. We never receive, read or use it.
Everything is stored only on this device. So your records can be lost if the device is lost, damaged or reset, if the app is deleted, or if you reset the app after forgetting your PIN — and we have no way to restore them. To keep them safe, you can make a backup file with Export data. If the backup password is lost, that file can't be opened either.
You may not modify the app, get around payment, or extract, copy or distribute the app's content without permission. The app is for your personal use.
The rights to the writing, session content, images and design in the app belong to the developer. The fonts used in the app, Pretendard and Gowun Batang, are used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 — see Settings > About this app > Open-source licenses. Research papers cited in the app belong to their authors and publishers.
The app is provided as is, and it doesn't promise any particular change or outcome. To the extent the law allows, and except in cases of intent or gross negligence, the developer isn't liable for lost records, device failure, or indirect damages arising from use of the app. Nothing here limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
Sessions and readings may be added or changed. If the service has to end, we'll give notice in the app and in the web version 30 days in advance. Your records are on your device, so you can make a backup file before then.
If we change these terms, we'll give notice in the app and in the web version 7 days before the changes take effect, or 30 days before for changes unfavorable to users.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes will be resolved in the court of competent jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
