These Terms govern the use of the mobile application "Worker: Word&Prayer" (Korean name 직장인 말씀&기도, the "Service") provided by the developer (the "Provider"), and set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Provider and users. A "User" means any person who uses the Service under these Terms.
The Service provides the following features:
The Service can be used without any sign-up or login. The Provider does not collect personal identifiers such as your name or email address, and does not create a user account for you. By installing and launching the app, you are deemed to agree to these Terms.
Some features require a paid subscription. What is free is as follows.
Where applicable local consumer-protection law grants a right of withdrawal, you may exercise it accordingly. The specific refund process and eligibility are governed by the refund policy of the store the purchase was made in. Requests go through Google Play support for the Android app, and through Apple's report-a-problem page (reportaproblem.apple.com) for the iOS app. The Provider does not hold your payment information and cannot process refunds directly.
Scripture quoted in the Service uses the Korean 개역한글 (Korean Revised Version, public domain) and the English WEB (World English Bible, public domain).
Original content created by the Provider — meditation questions, prayers, and Journey content — is copyrighted by the Provider. You may use it for personal purposes, and non-commercial sharing through the Service's built-in "share card" feature is permitted. Any other reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use without permission is prohibited.
The Service does not operate a server. Everything you create in the app — prayer requests, answered-prayer records, reflection notes, progress, and streaks — is stored only on your device.
This means that if you uninstall the app, reset your device, or lose or damage your device, this data cannot be recovered. The Provider does not keep a separate copy and cannot assist with recovery under any circumstances. You are responsible for backing up your data yourself using the "Export data" feature in Settings, and for safekeeping the resulting backup file.
The Provider may change or discontinue all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons. Notice will generally be given in advance, except where urgent circumstances require after-the-fact notice.
The Service provides content (meditations, prayers) intended to support your faith life, and does not substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment, psychological counseling, or professional legal or financial advice. Please consult a qualified professional for matters requiring such expertise.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any dispute between the Provider and a User will be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction.
The Provider may revise these Terms as needed. Any revision, along with its effective date, will be announced within the Service or on this page, and takes effect from the announced date.
