Terms of Use

These are the terms for using “Cat: Pet & Pat a Tabby”. Apple's Standard License Agreement (EULA) also applies together with these terms.

1. The Service

This app lets you interact with a video of a cat on screen. Petting, butt pats, slow blinks, and calling its name are free to use.

2. Lifetime

A single payment gives you continued access to the lickable treat and the wand toy. If updates add reactions or cat breeds, they unlock at no extra cost. It is a one-time payment with no automatic renewal. With the same Apple Account, you can unlock it again on other devices using Restore Purchase in Settings. Here, "lifetime" means for as long as the app is offered on the App Store.

3. Purchases by Minors

Users under the age of 19 must obtain the consent of a legal guardian to make a payment. If a payment was made without consent, the user or their legal guardian may request its cancellation.

4. Refunds

Payments and refunds are handled by Apple. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, and users in the Republic of Korea may request withdrawal of their purchase under applicable law.

5. Videos and Copyright

All rights to the videos, images, and sounds in the app belong to the developer. They may not be copied, distributed, or sold outside the app. The cat videos were created from photographs using a video generation tool.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not modify the app, bypass payment, or extract the app's content without permission.

7. Changes to and Discontinuation of the Service

Reactions and cat breeds may be added or changed. If the service must end, we will give notice in the app and in the web document 30 days in advance.

8. Limitation of Liability

Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, we are not liable for damages caused by device failure or network outages. The cat's behavior in the app is for entertainment and is not advice on caring for a real pet cat.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes will be resolved in the court of competent jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.

10. Changes to These Terms

If we change these terms, we will give notice in the app and in the web document 7 days before the changes take effect, or 30 days before for changes unfavorable to users.
